Sir Richard pulls out of charity swim
Unfortunately Sir Richard Branson has had to withdraw from a charity swim across the Irish Sea after a fire destroyed his luxury Caribbean home.

Ronan Keating, Jenny Frost (former Atomic Kitten singer), Pam Stephenson, Jason Bradbury and Steve Parry will still continue with the swim to hopefully raise about 1.5 million (AUD) for Cancer Research UK.
Tom Jones cancels gig and in hospital
Singer Tom Jones is currently recovering in a hospital in Monaco after suffering 'severe dehydration'. He also cancelled his gig as a result.

Tom's website it stated 'There are no heart problems as has been reported in the press'. The site further said that Tom was ordered by his doctors not to perform in Monte Carlo.
Firass Dirani to judge fashion

2010 Underbelly actor and winner of the Most Popular New Male Talent at the 2011 Logie Awards, Firass Dirani will judge the season's best fashion in his role as ambassador to the 2011 Sydney Spring Carnival.

In a statement Firass said "This is a role that won't feel like work, I love a day at the track."

'The Help' reigns at US Box Office
'The Help' has remained Hollywood's top draw at the box office for the second weekend in a row earning about $14.3 million (USD).

The Help is an adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's novel about black southern maids sharing stories about white employers amid the civil rights movement.

Earning estimations of $100 million are expected by weeks end.
Sofia Coppola weds
Sofia Coppola, American director and daughter of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola has married her long time companion, French singer Thomas Mars.

In a small ceremony in Italy the couple tied the knot with around eighty guests in attendance including Star Wars creator George Lucas.
